About

Hi, I'm Maddi.

I help small and mid-sized businesses put AI to work where it yields the highest financial return: eliminating costly manual bottlenecks, re-engineering outgrown systems, and unlocking hidden profit margins.

For more than six years I have worked at the intersection of business and data: figuring out what people actually need, translating it into something technical teams can build, and making sure the result holds up in the real world. I have done that inside some of the largest companies in the world, and I now bring that same rigor to businesses that do not have a big internal data team to lean on.

Make my business more productive

At a glance

  • Six-plus years across data, analytics, and product roles
  • Previous work experience at Microsoft, Amazon, and Accenture
  • BA in Computer Science, University of Wisconsin-Madison
  • Focused on hard ROI: compounding time savings, error-proofed workflows, and expanded operational capacity
  • Work with clients virtually, wherever you are based

What the big-company background gives you

  • I have shipped data and governance work that had to satisfy many stakeholders across many markets, so cross-team buy-in is second nature
  • I am hands-on technically, so I am not just drawing diagrams someone else has to build
  • I have spent years translating between business and engineering, which is exactly the gap most automation projects fall into

Why it matters for you

Enterprise discipline, small-business practicality.

Large organizations are strict about getting requirements right, documenting decisions, and measuring outcomes. Small and mid-sized businesses rarely need that much process, but they do benefit from the discipline behind it.

My job is to bring the rigor without the bureaucracy: understand your problem properly, design something that fits, and ship it without a six-month committee. You get the standards of a Fortune 500 data team, sized for your business.

What I believe

The principles behind every engagement

The problem comes before the tool

I start with what your team needs that they do not have today. Automation gets added where it earns its place, not because it is fashionable.

Buy-in is where projects are won or lost

The software is rarely the hard part. Getting the workflow right and getting every role on board is what makes a project stick.

Honesty about the unknowns

You will always know the assumptions still being tested and what could change the plan. No oversold promises, no hidden risk.

End-to-end, so you do not have to manage me

Strategy, design, build, and rollout in one engagement. You should not need to translate between business and technical, because that is my job.

Let's talk about your business.

No sales pressure and no jargon. Just an honest conversation about where you are losing time and whether I can help.
